My goal was always to get an RV and travel after I retired. But retirement came unexpectedly early when I lost my job of 23 years in 2009, and I found myself living on a very reduced income. Princess Roxie and I moved to Ecuador for two years, where it’s easy to live on less, but I really missed camping and travel, and my camping friends. The only way we could afford to live in the U.S. was to live in my little bitty 2004 ALiner Sportliner pop-up camper; 58.5 square feet! So we do. Little Bitty Budget, Little Bitty Camper, Great Big Fun!
And now I’ve bought a little piece of cheap land in N.E. Arizona and I am building a little bitty house! (87 sq. ft) I am 69 years old, fat, with a bad back and horrible knees, and I’m building my own house. Dumb, dumb, dumb! But it’s coming along, bit by bit.
